Ear on Earth No.1 (Gold Tape)

Ear on Earth is a series of original productions, remixes, beat tapes, and loop mixes built from rare records, overlooked sounds, and deep musical exploration. Each release blends storytelling, crate-digging, and creative mixing to uncover connections across music history, culture, and sonic artistry crafted for collectors, creators, and true lovers of sound.

Gold Tape introduces Mountain top which includes a cassette-exclusive bonus tracks on both sides. 

A trail mix of gospel loops and textured sample collages. Side A was created in April 2019 during the pandemic, while Side B was later produced on the Koala Sampler in October 2023. Expanding on the original ideas through a collage-driven approach that captures different eras of the same journey documenting EAHWEE’s evolving sound exploration over time.

This edition was designed as a fully immersive physical artifact not just a tape, but a collectible object inspired by black diasporic historys and of golden-era recordings.

The J-cards are printed on reflective shiny gold stock, giving the packaging a metallic finish that shifts in the light. Inside, the artwork opens into a gold leaf-inspired interior, creating a layered visual experience that mirrors the tape’s spiritual and archival tone. The gold textures and reflective surfaces were chosen to evoke the feeling of uncovering treasured records, forgotten recordings, and sacred sonic fragments.

The cassette itself is an all-gold shell, continuing the theme of this special edition release. From the body of the tape to its visual presentation, every detail was designed to feel ceremonial like a preserved relic from a lost broadcast or private pressing.

Each cassette is individually numbered and strictly limited to 15 copies.
